Prototype 0 because it's the first full assembly that I use to evaluate the starting choices.
Light box #
Light is provided by
- 4 1W green LEDs
- 12 1W royal blue LEDs
LEDs are mounted on a 4mm thick, 180x180 aluminium plate for heat dissipation.
A first test showed that 12 blue LEDs is way too much power -> Reduce it to 4. The 4 green LEDs seems to be a good starting point (50% duty cycle at top of column with 30 seconds exposure gave an acceptable result).
Exposure controller #
Exposure controller provides basic configuration for the PWM duty cycles, turn LEDs ON/OFF and dosimeter exposure with a TSL2591.
